The Most Advanced Remixing UI - v4.2

We’ve made big improvements to the Remix UI in the Fadr v4.2 update! It’s now much easier to edit and control your stems and make any mashup imaginable.

New Ways to Edit Your Stems

The most prominent change is the evolution of stems into highly transformable clips within Remix. Previously, it was only possible to move stems left and right using the align option on the side, but now it’s as easy as clicking and dragging. Every stem is represented by a bubble containing its waveform. Just click and drag the bubble to align the stem on the timeline. You can also click and drag the edges of the bubble to trim the stem, and dragging the top right corner will repeat the clip as much as you want. The best part - your stems will automatically stay beat aligned so you never have to worry.

Easily Change the View

Need a more detailed view of your remix? It’s now possible to zoom in and make precise tweaks to all of your stems, and there are several ways to do it. One way is to use the scroll bar located below the stem bubbles. Drag the edges to adjust your current zoom and drag the center to scroll throughout the waveform. The scrollbar will always reflect your current view, and you can see where you are in the remix with the new dynamic beat timeline. We’ve also implemented some shortcuts: use your scroll wheel to scroll the view of your remix, and use Ctrl +/- to zoom in and out.

Other Additions

We’ve also made a few other improvements you should find useful. It’s now possible to disable pitch correction on any stem in the advanced settings menu. Additionally, downloading your remix is a little different now. Clicking export will render an even higher quality remix on our servers, and when it’s done, you can download it using the download button. You can also now have your remix fill the entire screen by enabling full screen mode. Finally, we’ve added tooltips to everything you can interact with, so if you aren’t sure what something does, just hover your mouse over it for a short description.
